They will experience a safe and enjoyable FREE flight that will give new perspectives on the world and life in general. Participation in the Young Eagles Program will help them understand that an individual's potential is unlimited Please visit our Events Calendar to see scheduled Young Eagle events. Getting Started A registration form bearing a parent or guardian's signature is required before the flight. Print the Young Eagle Registration Form and bring it with you or complete one at the rally. The form consists of YE Program Information (pages 1-4), registration information about the YE (page 5), and liability waiver (page 6). Signature is required on the Liability Waiver
After the flight, each Young Eagle receives a flight certificate and his photo, taken with his or her pilot, as souvenirs. Young Eagle Coordinator: |
Young Eagle Rally Kick-off Rally for 2012 Saturday, March 24th! Yes, this will be the last opportunity to come out for a FREE ride in an airplane in 2011. Flights will start at 8:30am. All flights are "first come; first fly". In the event we need to cancel due to weather or other circumstances, we will post a notice on our home page by 7:00 AM the morning of the rally. 2012 Schedule :
Directions: (Map) Woodmen Road east to Hwy 24, turn left on Hwy 24 to the 2nd Blue Gill Drive (just before Judge Orr Rd), turn right on Blue Gill Drive to Mallard Drive, turn left on Mallard Dr to Piper Lane, turn left on Piper Lane to MLAA Hangar parking lot. Look for signs at Hwy 24 & Blue Gill, Mallard Dr, and Piper Lane. Please read "Getting Started" to the left for more information.
