This is a photo of our visit to Loyd Remus' Hangar last June.

This again proved to be our most popular meeting of the year. Thanks to all of our members who opened up their hangars and shared their projects with us.

Check back this weekend for photos.

Lee completed the First Flight of his F1 EVO Rocket on April 27, 2010, the day after his 70+ birthday.

At our May meeting, Lee brought his Rocket over and told us all about what it took to build the plane in 2 1/2 years. He described some of the modifications he made, why he chose the panel instruments he did, the F1's flying characteristics, how it's different from the Harmon Rocket, and much more.

We'll be sure to have him on the project tour, especially for those of you who missed this meeting.

Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held at the MLAA Hangar 13550 Piper Lane. (Map)
